​Founded by artist and producer Oscar Jiménez AKA Kaiman Jimenez, it has delivered independent and funded events since 2016, including Verbena Carnaval, Cumbia Lunar and Barrio Trópico. As a cultural agency, it also supports national and international touring, offering booking and artist services for venues and festivals.
 

Vibrating Planet collaborates with partners such as the City of Darebin, City of Yarra, El Gran Mono and Multicultural Arts Victoria, while its label supports releases by artists including Amaru Tribe, The New Monos, Kaimán Jiménez and Kobra 3000.
